So they didn't explicitly call it the RCF... but those wheels are ugly IMO...

The wheels look small too. Still I'm anxious to see how it looks and even more so how much it costs.

I hope Lexus will also release a good portion of the technical specs for the RC-F next month.

i hope it is significantly faster... body lines are off from the pic bellow the teaser pic. the F is lower, wide body fender is placed sligthly different, bumper line is different.

Well, if they're unveiling it next month as they claim, we should know a lot more about the performance specs and the price point. I think enough has leaked out there for us to have a pretty good idea of what it will LOOK like... but I have seen nothing reliable about how much it will cost or how it will perform. Yes, I know some HP and torque numbers have been tossed out there, but that means almost nothing unless we know how much it will weigh.

I'll make the same point I've been making in every one of these threads... if it doesn't significantly outperform its competitors, it better not cost significantly more.

Im with you on this one and hoping for the same. Faster and a tuning option dang it! If it is neither than I will be shopping elsewhere for my next car.

^^^ 500 before people start messing with it would be great. maybe more aggressive gearing as well. I dont buy a sports car for gas milage. i think your hoping for a lot about the tuning. If they wanted us tuning them the isf would be tuned.

No way it has 500hp. It'd be nice, but nope. The Lexus absolutely is angling to be the more reliable, sensible car of the class. If you want ***** to the wall power in the sport-luxury department, Benz and Cadillac have that covered. If you want a huge aftermarket, BMW. Lexus just isn't going to be a class leader in any of those.

If you want to feel damn near certain the car won't break down on you, and avoid the gas guzzler tax while you're at it, but still have plenty of fun, Lexus has your back.

I still think you (darbs) should get that Porsche though!

450, 455, 460 and 478 are the horsepower figures I have seen for the RC-F online. I think they benchmarked the E92 M3 which is logical. I am pretty sure the new M4 will be very competitive with the RC-F with its 430 hp and more or less 3300 lbs weight ( not sure if dry). I just hope this car will come in definitely lighter than the IS-F as mentioned online with the extensive use of lightweight materials. This car is tempting me to delay my GT-R purchase.

I personally like the wheels but they look like a pain in the **** to clean, just like my '11 wheels.
