I am looking into having my WALD trunk lid molded.
I found some awesome examples of some fine work.

I live in Irvine,CA , hoping get some suggestions on a nearby body-shop which
could pull this off. I do not want to go far away.

I highly recommend Quigleys auto body they did great work on repainting my bumper. They take pride in their work and it definitely shows. They are located in lake forest about 10 minutes from the irvine spectrum. I was super picky on who painted my car and ended up going with these guys and couldn't be happier .

Great, I looked them after I read your other post. Just hoping they do custom work.
Most of the places around here do only collision related repairs. I will give them a shot.

Agreed. I've been reading a lot of great reviews from platinum vip. It's like an hour drive from irvine. Hell, l'll drive 3 hrs to have them do any work on my F. It's really hard to find quality type of shop. From the sound of it, kennedy and platinum vip are getting it done with high quality. Reviews plus recommendation from F owners is enough for me to do it.

I'm curious on how much that costs. I want it done, but there's nothing better than OEM paint.

OP, I say take the time and effort and get it done right the first time. I would take it to PlatinumVIP, even if it would take me 6 hours. That's just my .2 cents and hell, I've never been to PlatinumVIP. I just hear about their work EVERYWHERE.
