Default Trunk emblem

For those of you with Wald spoilers, how did you get the emblem back on?

Did you buy a new emblem, grind down the plastic stands and tape it on or did you drill holes into your spoiler for the new tabs to go in place?

Trying to figure out how to best install this sucker!

There should be no need to get another "L" emblem. Even when it was removed prior to installing the WALD spoiler and might have one or two of the hole plugs cracked off, it should be ok to re-apply with double sided tape. I took off the old tape, cleaned it off, and then stuck it back on. One of the hole plugs where it aligns the emblem broke off when it was being removed, but it was still ok to use. You could grind it down, which isn't a bad idea to even the surface, but I just wanted my emblem back on.

Thanks! That's exactly what I planned on doing, was just curious what approach people took to reusing the emblem.

3M double-sided tape is what you need. As mentioned above, just make sure you clean the surface area to include the emblem good to insure good adheshion.

I bought a new one for like $25.00.

I like the clean tape lines of the OEM, putting on my own tape was way too messy looking on the edges.

I lined it up and drilled the holes, but if I had to do it again would grind or cut the tabs off, way easier to line it up straight without the tabs
