installin emblem

Default installin emblem

i dunno if this has been asked alot or not but i got a used emblem from my cuz to install on the back of my car under the spoiler and the sticky stuff is gone so what could i use?

double sided tape? what kind?

first of all clean the back of teh emblem, take away all the old adhesive

then clean the trunk, and use alcohol to rub on it

then use 3m industrial double sided adhesive tape. that's what they use from factory too

alright thanks a ton, whats a good thing to get rid of old exhesive, i cleaned my trunk with the alcohol alrdy

and i put that tape on the back take a exacto knife and cut all else away?

yup, just shape the tape and make sure none is visible after you stick the emblem on.

Well, before sticking the emblem on. Just look at the emblem on the car (with the tape stuck to the emblem, but still havinh backing on the other side) to see if any is visible.

As for taking the old glue off the emblem, try GOO GONE. Then clean the emblem as normal.

3m adhesive remover, the best i have ever used

i just cut little strips of tape and stick them behind the emblem
