Question Recommended Air Filter for the ISF

Hi!

Which one would you recommend and why? :-)

1. aFe 30-10167 Air Filter

2. aFe 31-10167 Air Filter

3. K&N 33-2453 Air Filter

Just confused about the two different aFe Filters part numbers.

Any other OEM replacement filter on the market?

You can respond to thread and poll.

Thanks in advanced!

I believe one is oiled/ washable and one is no oil/washable

Here's a video explaining the differences

http://www.etrailer.com/tv-Review-AF...r-Filters.aspx

1. aFe 30-10167 Air Filter - Cotton/ oiled filter
the AFE Pro 5R which is a five layered oil filter

2. aFe 31-10167 Air Filter - Pro dry is Synthetic and no oil
the Pro Dry S which is a dry media
I have two Pro dry filters so no drying wait times after cleaning them.

IMO - like the Pro dry filters. Easy to clean, no oil, and holding up well.

I have no other preferences, other than they were the same cost as the OEM one time use filters from the dealer.

Running the aFe Pro Dry and all is good under the hood I chose the pro dry due to the ease of maintenance, reuseable, and got a package deal with a JoeZ intake through Luis from Carson Tuned l-tuned.com.

I agree. The OEM will protect the engine best.
