Well I wanted to paint my calipers and I was kind of against a bright color because having MRM I don't think red has a good complimentary color like a white or black car has.
So I bought an Audi Silver paint from automotivetouchup.com but now I am wondering if light silver is going to look weird with my current rim set up (gunmetal centers and chrome lips) what do you guys think?
What you guys think? Silver calipers or leave them black? Or can you suggest another color that would flow? Not really feeling yellow or color match not sure....
On a side note I blacked out my window trim the other day using that mini cooper black tape stuff i seen others do and man what a good cheap mod
Seems like a lot of people paint their STOCK calipers brembo color and some even put brembo stickers on it
If your brakes are stock, paint them black / silver. Anything else and your going to get laughed at. Same as the civics who have brakes the size of half my fist yet still rock brembo BBK stickers and have it bright gold.
Laugh at ? our stock brakes are made from Brembo and put back the brembo stickers on it . Its legit is there any stock civic brakes made from brembo ? didnt think so
Justin, I would recommend a gold color to complement the MRM. I was looking into this as well, and found some nice variants of gold that would look really good to give it distinct detail there. BTW, the car looks great all around!
thanks for the input guys yea i just dont want anything that looks too odd and does not flow. i was planning on doing a light silver with red lettering .... other two options i heard that make sense are white and brembo gold/copper.
i want something that flows and does not look out of place

Dude what is your deal? You obviously do not have an ISF but keep posting in brake threads with your negative false info. Your really comparing Civic brakes to stock ISF brakes that are made by BREMBO?
Maybe you missed this on www.lexus.com:

So, no, the Brembo sticker is appropriate because it's right next to the BREMBO marking cast into the caliper itself.
And Murph I still think a nice silver color will still look really good, even with the finish of your wheels. I have seen silver Bremos behind machined face and also silver face wheels and it still looks really good. And then do a black BREMBO sticker on top of the silver.
@keykeeper the paint from automotivetouchup works just fine over our existing high temp finish.
@cremaster yea I bought red lettering so that was the route i was leaning and might still go
@calitrisc lol i know im not sure why that guy chimes in when he does not know what is going on, as far as the color yea maybe i am being paranoid lol just a lot of work to re do if i do not like the outcome. do you think black letters are that much better than red lettering? I can buy new stickers i just kinda thought that the red would tie into the car.
