You should use VHT clear coat after, probably keep the decals from pealing and you get that extra shine. ( Can be done without removing the callipers )
In the years I've had my Brembos and custom paint / decals I've never had a problem with the decals peeling up. We'll see what happens after my first track day though. Typically the vinyl will just get really soft and actually makes it bond to the paint more.

I had painted them blue originally when I first got the car back in 2011 got bored with the color so decided to change it back in 2014 I used VHT high heat primer VHT high heat paint VHT high heat clear I use a high heat vinyl decal paint stripper degreaser my Dremel, sandpaper right in my garage it was all about the prep that's what took 80% of time. That last pic is when I had my friend shop change rotors for me back in May of 2017. They've held up great and this is a DD that's been exposed to rain snow salt 3 track days and spirited driving etc.
