Default Vsc vs vsc off! Wow what a difference!

So Ive never really drove with the vsc off until the last few weeks and all I can say is damn! It's like driving a new car. It feels so much faster. I'm scared to go vsc off and sport mode!

really, I haven't noticed that much of a difference when I drive around with it off.

Maybe cause my tires are fairly new.

a right turn can turn into a 180 on a wet road.

I guess being around cammed Corvettes and previously owning a Z06 has skewed my idea of "fast"

I see quite a few Corvette's here in Socal and for the life of me I will never understand why people buy those cars to putt around like they do. In all my years I have seen thousands of them and it's always the same thing, older guy driving less than the speed limit. On or off the freeway.

It's not as if I have a glove box full of speeding tickets, but what's the point in getting a sporty, fast car that you're going to drive like a Model T?
Yes, any car that runs 12's in the quarter mile is respectable. Back when I was inhigh school, I thought my 14 second Mustang GT was the fastest thing on the road.

Here in the Houston area, there are plenty of the older guys driving their vettes but there's also a large number of the 600+hp vettes running around too.

Well I have the I/h/e combo and it feels pretty darn fast to me. This is my first sports car, so I can't compare to you Porsche, vette and Lamborghini drivers who have driven 1000hp cars. Lol

VSC doesn't have anything to do with the car being faster unless you are having traction issues... but from a roll, say 40+ mph, VSC makes no difference at all.

The only HUGE difference I felt with the VSC off was my back tires spinning all the time, especially around a turn. Now put it in manual and sport mode, and play around with the throttle....then you'll be in for a surprise! Fish tailing like crazy!

In the dry I'm always driving with VSC off. Maybe it's a placebo but the car feels more maneuverable. In the wet forget it. I tried it once the rear end wiggles even @ 40MPH

Anyone can make a car fast in a straight line, but what got me to buy this car is when I turned the wheel.

^Agree. Handles amazing for a 3800lb sedan. Not to mention the turning radius is amazing......the little things that matter

Put 275's on the back, and you won't spin hardly, it's awesome

As well CK.... There's Stock.. and then there's Houston Stock..... hahah

So your idea of fast is going to be a little different, lol
