Contact Nigel JDM about those ledboard, using small thin flat head screw driver to pry them out and tape painter tape around those plastic so it wont get damage. 2 led in front dome, 1 in rear, one in trunk, 2 in the sun visors light. 2 on the side doors, 2 bulbs on vanities light.
Hey all, any ideas on how to go about replacing the interior lights with LED's on a 12 IS-F?
Bulb types and removal instructions would be appreciated.
Also, if you search youtube there's an actual video on each interior bulb replacement on a regular IS which is similar. You may want to be aware that only the middle front dome bulb dims (not all 3) and the same goes for the rear. Only 1 bulb dims. I just recently replaced all interior bulbs to LEDs from Nigel. Bright white and are made from Japan. On a side note, if you do purchase the LEDs from Nigel be careful of the wires connected to the boards. They are very delicate. I had to re-solder a couple of wires back onto the board itself because they snapped off from adjusting. Other than that I am a happy camper. Good luck on yours!!
I got a LED package from iJDMtoy for my 2012 and they are a vendor on CL. Not sure on the 2 piece for the front dome lights, but mine was a 1 piece? When I did my install I used the link above for guidance. Good luck with your install bro and dont forget the blue painters tape as mentioned above.
I came across this newly designed trunk / cargo replacement unit. The fitment is spot on, nice upgrade. Arrived from Taiwan in about a week. OEM lamp is flush with the wall of the frunk, this one is raised just as the photo in the listing.
