Decided it was time to get back into the ISF Previoulsy i owned a starfire pearl F. When I bought it the carfax said it was clean. for some reason I carfaxed it again later on and found out the whole rearend was replaced. It never really felt stable over 100 (maybe the rearend damage was why?) I think i learned a lesson about thorouhly inspecting my new purchases. After knowing about that accident I knew it would bother me and decided to save some money and get a gs350. well that lasted 4 months and then bought a 08 E92 M3 IB. Loved the M3 pulled hard late not much lowend grunt. But im telling u I could have been doing 150 mph (on a track) and steered with one hand and talked on my cell phone..that car felt more stable the faster you went it was unreal. But having only 2 doors started to bother me considering i have two dauhgters 7 and 10. and manual was fun but really got annoying for me. Id hate to take a long trip then hope for no traffic. well traded that in for an 08 mercedes Gl450 great truck love the space smooth and comfortable and actually decent on gas,,but i been missing the F since I let her go, and tommorow I will be getting myself a 08 matador red mica. with 44k miles on it I have not seen it in person due to the fact its 200 miles away. the price seems right and it has injen intake and an exhaust. As long as everything checks out I will back in the F family..sorry for the rant but cant wait for tommorow!!

well i did purchase the car but they wont be bringing it to me until thurs or fri. the car has a borla catback on it, wow it sounds amazing but might be to loud after a while but that something ill find out over time. also it has fsport brakes ( those arent the ones that come on the f correct?) and it has the d2 coilovers from what i read these arent the best but im going to give them some time. for some reason the previoous owner had blacked out the tail lights but for me it looked terrible so the owner ordered me a new set of the stock ones. also it has fsport shift **** , so i guess most mods are already done, im not sure if the headers are stock or not i couldnt really see them.

 

awe sucks but make sure you explicitly tell them no one can drive the car..

Welcome back! I also have been through many cars over the past 5 years and I must say I am VERY happy with the F. I have yet to see the matador red in person.
