Default Rim Fitment

I've been searching countless threads and think that my question may be on some people's minds.

I have a friend selling some wheels that are 19x8.5 +29 front and 19x9x5 +34 rear. I don't plan on lowering the car soon.

Will this look funny or should I really go for a more aggressive fitment?

Thanks in advance for your responses!

Those offsets should be pretty flush. Also depending on your tire size, you might rub in rear.

Thanks for the reply! Would this offset take lowering out of the picture? Also what do you think is a nice tire for street/commuting duty?

I have very close to those exact wheel sizes and offsets on my car. I am at stock ride height. You might face some slight rubbing in the rear when you go over large dips or bumps at high speed. I had a slight roll of my rear fenders done to eliminate all rubbing. The wheels are Volk SF Winnings:
19x8.5 +35 front
19x9.5 +29 rear

What size tires are you running?

Thanks. They're stock tire sizes Bridgestone RE050As (225s up front, 255s in the rear).

i have a 295 in the rear on a 9.5 with a +35 offset. I had to roll fenders and it rubs every so often, only on big bumps, but the roads around here are crap. I would say you could go as wide as a 285 with rolled fenders without rubbing or 275 without rolling fenders. I also have Pilot super sports and they are rather wide for a 295 compared to other brands.

You will probably have to run a 265 tires in rear with no to little fender mods.

I'm running on 20x9.5 +35 on 265/30 and I was rubbing slightly with stock suspension. Had the fenders rolled and could prob fit another 5mm of offset. IMO the set up looks good, doesn't poke at all and at worst only a slight roll is needed.
