While opening the intake box to clean my Tom's air filter, I disconnected the connector hose between the intake box and the JoeZ intake pipe. I saw that the exit area of the intake box where it meets the rubber connector hose seems bent. Is is supposed to be like this? I don't think so. I think I must have tightening the clamps a little too hard when I installed the intake a couple years ago. Anybody know for sure? Is this an issue? Thanks in advance.
It's not supposed to look like that. You did tighten the clamp to much. That is from the collar on the clamp digging in at an angle.
If the coupler is long enough slide it on till it buts up against the sensor and slide the hose clamp to the edge. Put the collar for the worm gear in a different position. Watch the silicon when your tightening. You'll see when the clamp is digging in to much.
If you can't get it right try to heat that plastic with a heat gun and work the shape back into it then leave it in a freezer for an hour to harden back up.

Yikes! Yup not normal, but just do exactly as RCB said, but i would fix it first rather than just reattaching the clamp closer towards the sensor. It would affect the air flow, maybe not significantly enough, but in the back of my mind it would bother me if i didnt fix it

FYI for All...
In case some of you missed the printed instructions... 
Sorry to see this happen guys, but there is NO need to make the clamps SUPER tight over the silicone sleeves or plastic inlet tube...
As noted my other members, this can easily happen with the OEM pipe & Clamps as well...

Line# 13 - Ok, now that everything is on, and the pipe is at the right angle… you can tighten the screws on worm clamps with flat head screwdriver or 8mm mini socket wrench with extension. The socket wrench is easier. Do not over tighten!!
Line# 15 - While that is happening go back to the clamps and give them another small turn or two with screwdriver or socket wrench as the sleeves will set themselves and may need to be tightened some more. Just don’t over kill the screws/bolts; that goes for any type of installation.
