Because that is the norm now. These things are just sitting at dealerships and private owners that want to sell them can't get rid of them either.
Everyone is waiting on 2013 redesigned IS...

Plus these are too expensive in my opinion. I'd pay no greater then 30k for a used 2008 F.

Consider this one in the link below if you will. I was interested in it but walked away after talking them down to $29k.... It's been at their dealership for sometime now too. I walked away after learning about the 2011's revised suspension and comes with LSD which the 08's don't.

True but also depends on location. CarMax tried to buy mine with about 36,800 miles for $35,500 but sold it today for $38,000. Could probably have got more but looking to work in Afghanistan in 2-3 months, so needed to get rid of it.

Good luck finding a used low mileage Certified Pre Owned for that price. '08 F's with around 25k miles on them are going for around 40-43k.

My 2008 has 28,000 miles on it and is in mint condition. There's no way im selling it for 30k. I'd buy another one at that price..

I bet that thing is probably salvage/rebuilt title... What's with the unpainted panels and isx50 wood trimmings? Were the rear headrest also a different color? Anyways...Id steer clear from that car if I was looking for another F.

Edit: oops I just realized that it was cf.

$29k really? I find that hard to believe. I'm in the market right now and if they sell to me for that I'll book the next flight over there!

I traded in my 08 ISF 2 weeks ago, it had 57k miles. It's being sold now at the dealer, they're asking $36,500. That one at $29k must have something wrong!

I will tell you why it is so cheap. I have been following this car since the first day it was posted for sale on COPART with a SALVAGE title. its primary damage was repairs, and then i saw it for sale on ebay. not sure how much it sold for. I was tempted to buy this car on cop art, but the color of the exterior and the wood was not something i was looking for. Also on copart the car didn't sell three times in a row it kept getting relisted

If im not mistaken I think this car belonged to JMballista. He was involved in an accident on the fwy which his insurance declared as a total loss. It has a JoeZ exhaust that he couldn't remove...

It has an Electronic LSD (which uses the brake to modulate what power goes where). It is pretty decent, however if you are coming from a car that has a mechanical LSD (like I did) you will notice it on corners.
