I was wondering if it is possible to increase the volume of the shift indicator sound?

No, there's no adjustment to the shift warning sound.

We could really use the Corvette's HUD here and have a flashing screen for a shift indicator, but unfortunately, Lexus does not give us a HUD.

Are you hearing impaired? Just curious because I can hear it with the windows down at the track with a helmet on.

The new tach shows a three stage LED indicator, it seems like you can really make good use of the visual cues without the need for an audible one.

For current owners, is the shift indicator sound too annoying? Or do you get used to it? And can it be turned off?

I don't mind it, I definitely panic when I hear it as I forget about it. I think this means I need to drive it harder more often.

the reason why i asked about increasing the volume, is because it sounds pretty low especially if you are on the track with the windows down. I took a ride in another F and it was much louder.

Not adjustable no, wish it was. Mod it to blast the horn instead! jk that would get old fast on the track haha

I've only heard it once when I found a large gravel patch in the middle of a turn. I know the car's limits and how not to push beyond them. That's why I drive at the track...

the sound amplifier "as seen on tv"... comes with two so you can use it in both ears to hear that beep clearly... can't vouch for how well it works...

i think its annoying, i know my car well enough to know the sound it makes at higher rpm. i like the idea of it but only if there was a on/off switch.

but having the beep and shift lights on the new one is just a bit excessive
