Default Is it possible to switch off the TC?

I recently purchased my beautiful 2011 ISF and have few questions:

Is it possible to switch off the TC? I tried switching it off but it goes back on almost right away

The only way to fully shut it off 100% is by doing the peddle dance. That button mention above only cuts off about 80 or 90 % of it. The button on the dash right behind the steering on the right side. Not sure if they changed that on later models.

Yes the button on the right side under the sterring wheel does turne it off but it goes back on every time the car detects any wheels spin, or something! Looks like the computer turns it back on!

Three ways:

1. Hit the traction control button. It will go back on over 35mph I believe.
2. Hold down the button for 5 sec or so. It turns eveything off except the electronic lsd function. It will not come back on.
3. Do the "pedal dance" to turn everthing totally off. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...t-results.html

I've never seen the light flash, but it's probably because I have my eyes down track, not on the dash.

He has a 2011.... I thought with these and newer models, that the trac control button completely disables this and the vsc if held down for a few seconds (not just a quick push).... I beleive the "peddle dance" does not apply to 2011 and newer as welll... am i wrong here?
also these have a Torsen LSD not an electronic LSD so can't be "disabled" as suggested above..

Not sure about the traction control on the 2011. I would assume it would function exactly the same.

As I understand it as well, even the models with the real LSD, still have the electronic lsd functioning.

No guarantees. They re-engineered the ABS controls and repositioned a bunch of things for 2011 and later, so it may not be the same. It is worth a try though.
