Is-f navigation system
Hello everyone,
How you all doing? Hope everyone is well. I bought an IS-F with standard option. No sensers or bluetooth and without navigation system. I am trying to put all these options in my car and wondering if the navigation of IS250 and 350 will fit my F. And does anybody have an idea how much r they and how could find them used with good price!
Thank you

The navigation systems are the same from 06 to 09 on all IS lines including IS-F. The only issue is that you'll have to buy the harness so you can use bluetooth and back up camera. I think you're better off getting a Flyaudio system. It'll be more cost effective.

+1 on this, and it has more features as well.

Flyaudio looks good on video, but there has been some complaints. check out this link.

you might be better off just getting a $100 Garmin or Magellan. OEM system is reliable and works well, but i don't think it's worth $5k.

I believe he is referring to when the NAV system's changed to GEN 6 which is hard drived based. The NAV's before 2010 were GEN 5, which is DVD based and does not have the the new features which the 2010+ cars have.
Can be verified because the parts numbers are different.

Is it really worth it in end, you go to trouble of special ordering the car to save some cash either $2500 for no nav or $4000 for ML/Nav plus addition $500 for parking assit just to try and retro fit this equipment coming from standard IS. In the end what will it all cost head unit, wiring harness, if he wants best quality sound from factory set up that means ML amp,if not aftermarket amp plus, wires installation cost etc.
Interesting. I had no idea. I wonder if the hard drive one is faster
