Default PPE Headers

As planned, went to PPE this morning and a pre header installation dyno and left my F off for the header install. Guys, the PPE header is gorgeous, the workmanship was outstanding I really can't say enough good things about what I saw. Maybe these picts will do the talking. IMHO, these are the ones worth waiting for. PPE is planning a Group Buy when the first batch is released. Mine will be on next week

I have nothing against Sikky, but these look much better in terms of craftsmanship and finish. Can't wait for dyno results!

The collector on these look MUCH MUCH better than the one on my (sold) GS400 PPE headers. Then again, these probably cost more!

Love that collector shot. Considering that quality issues are the main reason that i dont have headers now, this is a big step forward. Im looking forward to the Before/After dyno results.

Wow those are amazing looking. Definitely interested in this group buy and looking forward to when it is announced. I assume since they just finished these the first batch won't be released for a month or two at least since they will probably try and get 5-10 sets made before shipping any out. Can't wait for the dyno results as well.

Just curious what you mean by quality issues??? The collector on these headers look excellent hands down, but other than that I dont see a difference from what is already on the market....The whp gain will speak for itself I'm sure. I just didnt realize there were quality issues with the other brands??

There have been a couple of threads commenting on Sikky quality. I have not participated in any of them. But you asked, so I am attaching one:

I think everybody appreciates the way you phrased this Lou.
Arguably ladies and gentleman the flange which mounts the headers is one of the most important pieces of it. If for some reason it fails to seal properly to the cylinder head you are bound to have some unhappy customers.

Yeah I just read all 3 pages of the linked thread. I cant say I noticed the flange issues on mine and I was actually impressed with the craftsmanship of my set. I noticed the collector was not top notch, but I also have high standards due to T1 race development spending countless hours building me a full race header for my 700whp Honda K series motor. I think both companies products look good but PPE hands down has the better collector. I had a cast turbo manifold back in the day sent to jet hot for coating for a 4cyl race car and it was in the same condition after 4 yrs of use daily driving. So the whole ceramic argument in that thread is pointless. The flange on the header does matter to a certain degree, but I think we all want more power from the F and want a reliable company to do it or companies so far we have that. Cant wait to see the dyno's for the PPE!!!
