Hi guys,
Long time reader, first time posted.!
Been watching this thread for a while, and since we don't have any support here in Australia just yet ( PPE did come out recently and took some measurements,we should have them ready mid way next month)
Im keen to know if what kinder base power i could expect with my F,
With just a JoeZ exhaust, and the Icode intake , Toms Air filter, i got a high reading of 372hp at wheels,
Then bout 6 months ago, we removed the intake and had it cleaned up , the guys tell me they cleaned up a few of the factory cast marks, and smoothed it out, refitted the manifold.
Last week i had it re dynoed in preparation for the headers to be fitted (to do a before and after comparo) and the power has dropped off.
A fair bit to be honest (353 hp) .
Both times the the dyno guy has commented on how rich it runs...and it would be better if you could lean it out a touch ..
Just a few ideas on why the power has dropped off.
i was going to PM just lowrideraz, but wanted to open this up as a few of you might have different ideas.
Cheers

You'll notice that the setup similar to yours (The Green line) had similar readings to your last run.

RichieISF,
I wouldn't sweat the new baseline numbers. Unless you dyno within a short amount of time (say a day or 2 max) in the exact same manner its not possible to accurately compare numbers. For example run 34 above where I had the JoeZ exhaust, Sikky headers and JoeZ intake shows considerably less power compared to when I went back again at a later point in time with a similar setup minus the intake and a change to Borla exhaust. Weather conditions, type of fuel, the dyno operator, cool down time and questionable SAE correction on dynos all play a big factor. Just know that you can be certain this car has nice power gains with exhaust and headers no matter what brand you go with.

Many thanks guys,
I spoke to my Service manager today and he said a few of the same things as you guys ,
regarding the "correction factor"which according to my dyno print out is 3.67SAE J607. it was a Dynolog dyno, and he tested in 5th gear this time.
i will get a Pic of this print out asap and put it up .! Just was hoping after fitting the headers to see 400hp at the wheels... but i guess until there is a way to tune these things... it aint happening...lol
Again guys.. many thanks!

AFAIK all the other dynos, mine included, were done in 6th. 6th is the one to one ratio. See this thread:

Im running clean for just over two weeks now. My guess would be your O2 conditioner wiring... Have you checked to see what cel it is?
Guys,
We are still waiting for these Amazing headers to be released for our RHD market here in aussieland, But I've seen a set of the prototypes and they are awesome!
The guy who had them trial fitted to his ISF said it turned into a real monster.!!
Also been talking to this new workshop who claims he can get past the security on our ECUs and change a few settings... will keep you all posted on this.
