new to lexus and the forum~ nice to meet you all

if i have all the money in the world, i go buy 2011 IS-F in a heartbeat.
however, that's not the case. XD
i searched around for couple of places and talked to few dealers. 2011 is hard to come by. and package C (with backup camera) has to be special ordered. ummm. i do not want to wait for couple of months to get IS-F.
so i started looking for 2010 model.
i found some difference between 2010 and 2011.

LED daytime running light,
new ext. color option
some int. design changes
new steering wheel (not sure what's changed)
new instrument panel. (i see clearly what Lexus did for this one. and love it. but i also like 2010 panel)

is there any other changes? such as suspension, transmission, any hardware updates?

so far, except LED light (i like the most) there is not much difference between 2010 and 2011. (there are, but in my mind, they are minimal
if you guys know one or two, please educate me. Thank you in advance~

 

The suspension is a little softer, but tuned to handle the corners just as well. Longo Lexus has four 2011s, I just rode in one the other day and loved it. I like the new cluster.

 

sweet! i was waiting for longo to get some. i wanted to see how this new revision to the suspension would feel in comparison to the ones from 08-09. while the parents are out scouring for their swagger wagon, i'll walk over tomorrow and see if i can get a test drive in. lol

 

If you get an 2011 IS-F with Nav & ML the backup camera will be there..

Most if not all in the Western Region will have the Nav & ML Pkg.

There is NO exterior color changes. They are still the same 6 colors.

The Black on Black Interior gets a very nice Alcantara Black insert in the center of the seats. Which is a very nice update and keeps you planted in the seat.

Besides the new headlights with LED (loss of AFS), revised suspension and new guage cluster. All remains pretty close to the 2010..

New 2010 inventory is VERY low since Lexus did not want a repear of 2008 models..

Most you find will be 2011's landed or in transit.

I would do a search on cars.com and see what comes up. Not too many noticeable changes in 2010 and 2011.
