Default Apex SAFC

Anyone look into this for their F? One of my buddies is a tuner and told me to get it..but I wanted to get some ideas.

Its just a piggyback and I'm sure if you can figure out the right wires to tap into it would work. But from what I've seen from dyno charting the A/F ratio on the stocker is pretty well optimized so I'd take a wild guess and say not much would be gained with this unless you back it up with some type of forced induction.

Very familiar with it and used it before on my forced induction (Skyline & SR) cars.

Question is why does your tuner think you need to get one for an F?

SAFC + forced induction on a originally non FI vehicle is almost guaranteed blown engine. That has to be the most ineffective and "ghetto" ways of "tuning", although i have seen it work in rare occurences... People were doing this on hondas, subarus, etc 10 years ago. You shouldn't be running an SAFC on the ISF IMO - it's not worth the effort and you'll do more harm than good even on an NA setup.

And this is why questions are asked and helpful people like you guys to answer. Although his wasn't my question, it's great to learn and know. All done without inflamatory sarcasm! Wonderful to see.
