Default Is there a valet mode?

I'm too lazy to go look for my owner's manual.

Nope. I've read most of the manual and nothing mentioned anything like that.

That sucks. And the only safe way to store anything in the car is in the glove box and take out our key out of the keyfob. Hmm.

You can use the trunk to store things too. Just hit the lock button in the glovebox then lock it and the trunk wont open even if the button is pressed.

pressing the lock button for the trunk as well as locking the glovebox should be enough. ive heard of guests testing to see if valet would go through the center console, and sadly they do. my friend left her F with valet with just some small change in it. a few nickels and dimes, but by the time we got back into her car, it was all gone. whats sad was that our valet knew we knew he took it (hardly gave eye contact to us).

Yes they could I guess but not if you keep it far from the hole or stick it in the little sunk in area on the side or in the spare tire well.

What exactly are you keeping back there anyway?

The center arm rest can only be opened from the trunk via the "pull" tab, so if the trunk is locked you should be ok if you store items in the trunk.

Wait what? The trunk is always closed and locked when I'm driving and the center armrest can always be opened.

i believe Tzaikun was answering your earlier question and was referring to the center rest of the backseat, which can only be opened from inside the trunk. So if you lock the trunk using the button in the glove box, then lock the glove box and take the key with you, then they can't gain access to the trunk.
