ah you are pretty up north. i am in around fullerton. seems like you got it resolved already, i was thinking if you can come i can probably help you fully disconnect the sat. but i agree vaistech is probably a better solution. i did an install on isf, factory sat, vaistech ipod, everything works very well.

its kinda off topic.. but my ipod sometimes resets itself for somereason when connected..

what do you mean reset itself? when playing and suddenly powers off and on?

this is with factory ipod kit or vaistech?

its factory... and what it does is when u turn off ur engine with ipod pluged in, my ipod gets messed up.. eventually if i turn on the engine again ipod resets itself..

What kind of iPod do you have? Have you tried restoring the iPod through iTunes?

that's odd, never ran into that problem before. what happens if you press the center and menu button together (and hold). it supposedly reset your ipod

this was with 5th gen nano.. i tried it with different kinds of i pod and tried everything and gave up.. i just dont use it anymore... its not too hard to burn mp3 cds.. just five mins of my time...
may be i should goto dealer? lol
