Default quest for 400WHP (nos) ?

ok guys here is my project..

ISf Red or Dark Grey (will problably go with the RED)

i just ordered the Intake tube. tom's filter and the exhaust. and already have my nos system......

This is what i was thinking

350 WHP stock
+ 20 WHP Exhasut
+ 5 WHP Filter and intake tube

= 375 WHP

+ 50 WHP NOS

= 415 -425 WHP

I have seen Honda stock 2.0L engines take more than 80HP shot (20hp/cilinder ) and have no issues what so ever... my 50 shot would be a 6hp increase per cilinder. plus theres an is350 with a nos system already. so ok what do you think It will be a few weeks before all my stuff get here but I'll keep you posted once i receive everything... What do you think guy.....?

AG tunning will be helping me with this project...... as of warranty dont worry about it i have my own shop... I 'll be dynoing soon but got to put some miles in the car first..

Alfredo

Ok guys UPDATE!!!!

finallly the joez intkae tube and exhaust have arrived. I have to say that I'm very happy so far with everything.. the car only has 356 miles so i'm still taking it a little easy. but love the new sound. i will not be making a dyno until i get some miles on the car and the only comparison i will be making is when the toms filter arrives... so i'll let you know the performance of the car with and witout the toms filter.......i decided to do it like this because the exhaust and the intake have all been proven (agtunnig will be testing and compering with base numbers) and the only thing that has not been proven are the intake filters....after all this testing and dynoing we will install the 50 shot nos and see if the car likes it.......

I;ll have some pics later but someone has to help me load them up!!!!

50 shot will be no problem... you can prob be safe with 100 shot

a couple techs here at Lexus have 100 shot in their IS250 6MT and havent had a problem

380 rwhp before NOS is proven. Both Peter (houstonT) and I have dyno'd our cars in that range with the Joe Z exhaust and intake.

Sounds like you have a good plan to get the 400+ rwph you want Let us know how the setup goes and how it's running once you get it completed and out on the dyno and track

What octane fuel can you get your hands on? If you plan on running 93 only then 80hp is about the max I'd run.
If you can get 100, 103 octane go for a 125hp shot with no worries. Just make sure your frist five or so pulls are on the dyno with a A/F wideband.

The release and hp claims of the new K&N air filter make 400hp seem that much closer w/ just bolt-ons.

We have VP and sunoco race fuels so i can get good gas here .. I'm plannin on using 99oct or 98oct unleaded.. I dont think i'll make it all the way to 125 shot but i'll problably end up with 80 HP working my way up from 50.. any sugestions on the plugs. should i go with colder pluggsss.....?

Verals05
i was thinking the same thing but the ecu tunning has not sold me as of yet....plus i already have the nos kit from another proyect and its US$1500 i don't have to spend for better or the same results...
i don't know about the K&N clains it seems a little far fetch too. I dont bellieve i hace seen 28 hp gain from a filter in any car ever!!! but than again i could be wrong......
guys thanks for the kind words.... and will keep you updated as things arrive.

thanks

Sounds like an awesome project and if you can drive, breaking into the 11's could be a reality

So who is going to claim the first 11 second F

N20 will certainly put the F into the 11's. I'm 100% sure of it.
