Low Offset,
Do you know which wire was unplugged? Since I did the hack they will probably tell me that the unit is no longer under warranty and charge me for the labor.
I asked him about it and all he told me was a wire required for the audio (yeah I knew that lol) so to answer your question. No unfortunately I have no idea, but double check your wires and harnesses. Make sure they are all plugged tight again.

Low Offset,
I have taken the dash apart 4 times and I don't see anything disconnected. I will take the car to the dealership and let them figure it out. Thanks again for sharing your results.
brattygirl - the DVD sound is a single connector. I've borrowed the pic from the ISx50 NonNav to Nav install thread to show the location of this pin. It is a single pin connector and it only affects DVD sound. Be sure it is plugged in. There is also a splice underneath the console for this wire that could be a problem too.
Here's the location of the splice - it's ST1 in the diagram:
Thanks for taking the time to show me the images of the ML system. I am positive that there is no wire connected to the DVD sound connector. I looked at that connector several times because there was no wire attached to it. I will disassemble the console again look for the missing wire and double check the ST1 splice. I am going to try to get to it this weekend. I will keep you posted. Thanks again for the images!
i can't remember the IS i did anymore, but on my gs and ls (both with ML), i believe there is a harness for that plug. iirc it's tied together with the two wires that's like RCA plug to the two jacks (on the bottom side of the picture lance posted). but that's on the ls and gs, on the IS i can't remember exactly
dunno if it helps, but in case that's the case, maybe you can try to trace the two jacks that i mentioned, and see if there are any other plugs tied together with it?
Any updates? Curious if the sound issue is unmuted now.
Here's the update: I took my car into the dealership yesterday. I spoke with the service rep and told him that there is no sound for the DVD player. I mentioned that I did the bypass on the car which should not have anything to do with the sound. Immediately he started with the safety lecture and I tactfully told him that it was my car and I can do what ever I want! After 2 hours, he brought that car back and said that the mechanic could not find any disconnected or loose wires. Sigh. He said that I have to put the ML system back to factory specs so they could determine the problem. I already know that the DVD connector wire is disconnected from the unit and I told chuckle nuts the wire is disconnected! I am going to take it apart again tomorrow and see if I can fix it. If I don't get it to work tomorrow I am done with the DVD player...
