i own a IS250 and have recently added a rotora bbk. now i can not use my stock spare wheel incase of a flat. what do u guys run as a spare and is there any pics. i do not want to buy a spare rim i rather go with the ISF uses.
( all i need is info on the spare wheel u guys use and what it looks like and where i could find one).. plz dont bash my thread and tell me it was a worthless mod to my 250 and that i should of bought a isf..
You might be able to find an extra spare from your local dealership. It's just a crazy yellow donut like in the pic below. I don't know much more about it, sorry man
hmm you got front and rear rotora right? i would of suggested that if you got a flat in the front you put one of the rear aftermarket wheels on the front and put your spare or stockie in the rear but i think you have a front/rear BBK so idk if that would clear...
just get a is350 spare tire, or a is350 front wheel, is-f brakes are not thicker than is350
The IS-F brakes are not "thicker," but they are taller. The OEM IS350 spare will not clear the IS-F brakes (or in Dante's case, his Rotoras). Dante - I'll be test fitting some brakes later in the week - I'll see if I can borrow an IS-F spare and see if it'll work.
