the DRL theres multiple ones you can choose from.. just depends on how bright you want it... mine have 3 leds... on the website... they actually have a IS model with the DRL
When you are talking about your DRL's, are you sure you aren't referring to your parking lights? These are the DRL's. The parking lights are the smaller bulbs in the same housing and show up when your lows are on. The picture makes it look like just the parking lights are showing up. Maybe its just the image though...
DRL's are your high beam bulbs running at a reduced percentage from their regular operating wattage. The wedge bulbs that are in the high beam headlamp housing is called a city light aka running light/parking light.

If you do a LED convert to the DRL's, don't be surprised if it includes a module that runs them at full wattage the whole time. Otherwise mine flickered.

I think you guys have the term DRL confused with the city lights/parking lights (wedge bulb). The city light only comes on when you have the parking or headlamps on. The DRL's which are your high beam bulbs come on when you release the brake pedal (granted you did not have them disabled by your dealer via LPS).
If you're getting flicker from the wedge bulbs, there are one of two things that are happening. 1) Poor connection/contact with the bulb with the socket, 2) LED wedge bulb is of poor quality.
