Default Lexus Ext. Warranty

My dealer offered a third-party warranty and said, "Lexus doesn't have 7yr/100k mile ext. warranty". I declined because $ too high.

Did any one get one that back up by Lexus Financial Services?

I bought my car with 3000 miles on it through an Acura Dealership (it was the GM's car). If I have the car serviced there, there is no deductible for the service. If there is something they can't do, they will take it to Lexus for me with no deductible. If I decide to take it anywhere else, there is a $100 deductible after the factory Lexus warranty runs out.

Not bad at all!!! Even $100 deductible is not bad considering the cost of labor and parts these days.

Yeah, I was pretty happy. I think that price is VERY close to dealer cost.

7 year / 100K is the max Lexus will go, but they do offer it. Price depends on vehicle.

I got my car with 3yr/100,000K CPO from a lexus dealer. It had 1600 miles on it. The car I traded had 75K, and was barely 3 years old.. so I expect to be at the same mark with the Lexus. The CPO warranty is *supposed* to be identical to the original warranty.

If I decide to keep the car after 4 years, I'll purchase the Lexus extended warranty (before the mfg warranty expires).

I'm not sure I'll have the car in a year... I want the GT-R...
