...well really no car is really fully 'bulletproof', but this one is up there on top of the list.
I saw this as a mostly satisfied owner for the past 9 years...and right now I'm at 189k and the thing that's hovering over my mind is the Valley Plate Leak I know I'm (dreading)going to have address soon.

Bio-SynXtra Passenger Car Motor Oil, 5w-30 in 5 gallon pails. I use it in all three of my cars.

Not to get too off topic here but just out of curiosity what is your process for measuring and pouring oil into the car from this large container? I can of course think of ways to do it (I'm assuming some intermediary vessel, or several...) but nothing that seems very ideal. Curious what solution you've chosen.

It actually is though...lol
Over the last 15 years I put about 3.5-4k miles on my car/truck on average
I live 5 mins away from work and use the wife's vehicle whenever we do anything.

That's pretty low on mileage! I bought my car 3 years old with 30,000 on it! What year is yours? I have a 2008 isf.

I have a "pail pump" for the buckets. I got it from Harbor Freight, but it looks just like this one from Tractor Supply. It takes 180 pumps to fill to the top mark on the dipstick for both cars. Yes, I count them out.

I put the bucket in this to make it easy to move:

Yes. From my Supra's front end. Glad Georgia has no requirement for front plates. They don't even issue them.
