Yesterday on my IS250c I put my top down and Had a hard time putting it up it kept on starting to move then it would freeze and then I would move then it would freeze I finally got it up and today I disconnected the battery and reconnected the battery and it will not open I hear a clicking sound in the trunk when I move it and if I hold the switch it tells me check Retractable roof and it will also tell me operations to spend it it’s now up but I’d like to get my top to work any ideas?

 

Things to check:

The luggage cover. That's the cloth thing in the trunk that you have to move out of the way to allow the top to fold down. The two ends that stick in the floor have a magnet in them that is sensed by the sockets in the floor. Make sure that the ends of the luggage cover are clean and make sure that the sockets in the floor don't have junk in them and are clean.

Fuses. In the trunk on the drivers side all the way forward in the back of the rear seat is a fuse box. Unhook the luggage cover and lay it flat on the floor to see the fuse cover.
