Default Safety recall ?

Received letter that I need to bring car in for:

Safety Connect System – Vehicle Location Inaccurate.

anyone else get this ?

Yes, but it's only needed if you subscribe to the pretty useless Lexus Safety Connect service. I will probably get it done though next time I'm in, just to be current, but won't go out of my way.

We have no subscription

dealer told me it takes a day and they provide loaner

is it a software update or any thing needs to be opened up ?

I went on the government's recall web site for this (http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr...callsearch.cfm) and there is nothing showing for this as of today. I entered 2010, 2012 and 2014 IS250.

But there is a recall issued Oct 17,2019 for the passenger air bags. It is recall # 19V741000 and says:
These vehicles had their driver or passenger frontal air bag inflators previously replaced under a prior recall using inflators of the same design. The inflators may explode due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to high absolute humidity, temperature and temperature cycling.

Here we go again.

My airbag recall was done in January, so that needs to be replaced again ?

this one I received letter from lexus NA

It sounds to me like anyone who had the airbag replaced will have to have it done again.
