Default Add window switch to 2010 IS350c

Hello! I’m getting close to buying a 2010 IS350c and noticed it does not have the window switch next to the top down button like the 2011-2015 models. Is the electrical connector the same to where it can be added? I am hoping it is since the top down button lowers the windows as part of the function.

I have found tons of info on your forum on these cars which has really helped me during my search. I really appreciate the fact that this forum was put together!
Thanks- Jim

Since the button to lower/raise all the windows was not a feature of the car until the 2011 model, I seriously doubt that the 2010 (and older) will have the wiring for it.

The 2010 switch has a 6-pin connector, while the 2011+ has an 8-pin connector.

On the computer end of things, I think you'd be in a bit more luck though, as the 2010 roof control computer changes up to the 2011+ computer, which means you'd be able to get a 2011+ computer and swap it in, then add the appropriate wiring.

Great info- thanks for sharing Jeff! Still searching for my first IS350c- there is a local 2010 in the blue I like but I wonder if I should keep searching for a newer model- the switch, LED strip lights...etc. Thanks again!

This is how my 2010 looks like when I got it. Doesn't look like this anymore though lol. Have a digital air pressure gauge there now. Good luck on your search for your 350C
