Exclamation Window goes up then goes back down half way

Hi everyone, I'm not sure what caused this but every time I roll up the passenger window as soon as reaches the top goes down about half way. I tried the window reset trick holding down for 3 secs posted in this forum, tried disconnecting the battery none of them worked. I don't see any warning lights on my dash.
Some posts suggested the limit switch that needs to be reset?

Did you try with the door open? is it from driver switch or passenger switch or both, did you try from the switch by the top down switch?

Fixed it! I unplugged the passenger switch and left it like that overnight with window rolled down all the way.

Default Unplugged the passenger switch?

How did you unplug the passenger switch? I’m having the same issue with my rear drivers side window.

There was another way to fix the issue that Toyota did for me, so I don't remember how exactly. It was reset by holding the passenger window button down for a few seconds until you hear clicking sounds and then pulling it up for a few seconds until you hear a clicking sound.

Read the second to last post of this thread, I believe this was how they did it:

Hope this helps!

So I had the same issue on my 2010 IS250. After closing the window it would just open halfway. In order to correct that I shut off the vehicle then I would reach over to the passenger door switch and close the window after it opened half way BUT keep your finger on the switch or else it will open again. While you have your finger pressed against the switch open the driver door so the car shuts off completely and the window can't open again.
Once you open the driver side door you can release the switch.
Actually just did this to close the window but I accidentally fixed it and it stayed like that overnight. I don't know if that matters overnight or if you can do it right away. I would assume it corrects it right away.

Hope this helped!

I just had this problem with my CT200h. I solved it by instead of rolling the window all the way up, I rolled it up little by little. I kept stopping, then going up a little more until it reached the top. Then it stayed there instead of going back down half way. After that it was fixed.
