IS250 C Convertible automatic window problem
Page 84, with the ignition in the on position, at the window with the problem hold the window switch in down and continue holding for 6 seconds after window is open, then hold the switch in the up position till window closes then 2 more seconds, then hold the switch in the down position till open then 2 more seconds.
One other thing I found on my ISC is if the rear window is not fully closed the front window will not fully close and do the small open close when opening the door.

I’ve had my 2010 IS350C for 11 years this month and I used the solution in this thread early on in my ownership adventure to reset my passenger side window which was sitting partially open. Textbook symptom and textbook solution.
Today I was heading to the car holding down the unlock button on the fob to lower windows but the driver’s window was still up. (In the morning the window stuck to the weatherstripping a bit as I open the door but things seemed alright otherwise.) I tried lowering the top but is stalled out right after the trunk lid opened and the window remaining up halted the process. Reversed the process and the other windows came up and the trunk closed so I made it home ok and started searching for this thread.
Well, the standard method with extended holding of the switch in either direction didn’t cut it. I took others advice and disconnected the battery (negative lead only) for about 25 minutes. This time, ignition on, I started with pushing the switch down and then up a couple of time but it still didn’t budge. The window was making the very slightest attempt to drop when the door opened but nothing. I shut the door, started the car, and reentered my radio presets, then shut off the car.
Upon opening the door I heard the clunk mentioned by moffutt! Ordinarily you wouldn’t want to hear the kind of clunk, this was music to my ears. I quickly closed the door, the window snugged up! I started it up and pushed the button—the window went down! I cycled the top to make sure it was fully functional, then headed inside to share the good news with anyone still lurking at Club Lexus. I hope this can help others (or at the very least remind me of what I did when it happens again).
