i usually ride with my windows half down. My passenger window goes all the way down when i push the window switch up. I have to wait a few minutes to press the window switch up so it can work, it works when it feels like it, the passengers window switch does the same thing the window just goes down when i push the switch . i tried the opposite, but the window just goes down. Do i need a new switch? a new window regulator? cant figure it out.Anyone have any ideas? thank you.

I had the same problem a few times when the weather is really cold (20-30 F), but had not happened since when the weather is above 40 degrees. I really don't know what could have caused it, but I really want to know so this won't happen again.

i will cheek that, there is time that the window goes half way up then comes down again. thank you
Try using some silicone grease to grease the window tracks. Often the friction can build up and be enough to activate the anti pinch mechanism as the window is rolling up.
Just be careful not to make a mess when spraying the silicone grease. If this fixes it, then while you're at it, may as well grease all window tracks.
