Hello to everyone! Proud new IS-C owner here from Naples FL. A little over a week ago I made the decision to trade in my ugly Nissan Juke for a new 2012 IS350c! Unfortunately the only color they had on the lot was white, it wasn’t my first choice, but it had the saddle interior which I LOVE. So my impatience got the best of me and I settled for the white which is starting to grow on me actually. So far I am more than happy with my new ride. It is my first convertible and surely will not be my last! I haven’t decided whether or not to keep this car stock or to sink some money in performance modifications. from what I have read so far, there is not much more power left on the table for doing simple intake/exhaust upgrades...I also have a Subaru WRX that i purchased new back in 2007 that i use as a project/race car. Despite how much of a maintenance nightmare it is, i just can’t bring myself to get rid of it. It's a love/hate relationship... Anyways, I just wanted to introduce myself and I look forward to getting to know all of you!
Pictures of my babies!
5% tint is a must! Chevy visors are from previous employment...
Headlight was removed before heading to the track...
Money shot...
Welcome to the club you will love your new IS350C. You will be happy you got the 350 if you like power, they run pretty good. Good luck and start reading the threads in this and the regular IS section, there is lots to learn from this great group of IS owners. If you have any questions about anything on your new car don't be afraid to ask you willget lots of help.
Had mine about 3 weeks love it. Traded in on my old 04 BMW 325Cic, at 60k it was falling apart and going to need huge $$$'s to keep it running in reasonable order.
Love the quiet smooth run at freeway speeds, BMW used to rattle like crazy. Handling is not quite as crisp on the Lex, but don't care it makes up for it in so many other ways. Even with the top down and the windscreen up you can use it on the freeways with no problem and around town with out the windscreen.
Welcome and enjoy, of all my previous cars and even previous Lex, this one is the most fun.
Get some lowering springs/coil and drop it! And congrats on the new car.
The car does sit a bit high for my taste... almost looks like it's prepped to go off-road. I'd like to lower it but I'm afraid that it will hinder the ride quality though...
