Sorry to break it but I wouldn't expect anything in this segment until next generation. One main reason is that it is way to late to release a vert or better yet a coupe. Why? well look at all automakers and tell me when they release their vert or coupe models, usually its a 6-12 months after the sedan is released because the hype is still in the air. Sorry but its alittle to late to expect something for the 2IS.

agreed. a coupe is the last thing on Lexus' mind. the only coupe they have is the SC, which is sick btw.

I'm glad Lexus went w/ performance (IS-F) rather than another convertible.

If they ever come out with an IS convertible, I'm sure it will be nice but dont bet on it any time soon. It will probably cost as much as an IS-F so think twice.

I had my IS at the dealership for the free 5000mi oil change, and the sales manager told me the IS Convertible will be hardtop.

I love the idea of the Coupe, but hate the idea of the Convertible. The convertible looks like crap too me.
