Howdy, I have a 2011 IS350C and the headlights are showing their age. Has anyone successfully replaced theirs and had a good experience with after market LEDs? Any recommendations appreciated.
I bought a pair of Jumiap ones (resold by Fione). I haven’t put them on yet but I’ve heard that these are much better than Vlands. They do have an issue with sealing so you’d have to get them resealed. But the light output is more than OEM and the quality of the bulbs seem fine as well. You do lose AFS
I did the Vlands on my 12' 350ISC and it really updates the look of the car. Unfortunately the passenger side leaked and shorted out one of the two low beams and high beam LEDs (out of warranty)
The problem with my headlights is the lenses are deteriorating and sort of yellowish. Anywhere to get replacement lenses?
I use metal polisher twice a year and it clears them up quite nicely. It's the cheapest way to bring them back to a better look (for couple months). Alibaba sells replacement lenses but those don't fit properly, lol

you can wet sand them and polish but if they are really damaged then you can get a replacement. The problem is that it is hard to find a replacement set for the 2011+ headlights. I recently purchased a set and they sent me the wrong ones and apparently that is a common experience.
Your 2011 Lexus IS likely came with a Bi-xenon (HID) system, which uses a specific type of bulb for both low and high beams. But remove one of the bulbs from the headlight assembly and look for a part number printed or stamped on the side of the bulb. The number will often be a designation like "H11" for HID or "9005" for halogen.
Important note for handling headlight bulbs - DO NOT touch the glass part of the lamp. If you do, clean it VERY thoroughly as the oil from your skin will cause the bulb to shatter when turned on.
