Help- top won’t close fully or open
Hey guys, after not opening the top for a bit, and since todays weather felt nice I decided to try to open the top at first you could hear the switch go off and start to open a bit, but out of nowhere it stopped and said “op suspended” so I tried to close it and it also said “op suspended” wondering if anybody else had this same issue. I tried to force to close it but it hasn’t closed and while I drive it says “roof halfway open “

did you unlock the trunk by prying up the small plastic cover between the back seats at the top. Use your manually key and turn till it clicks and opens the trunk. Mine says that intermittently but mine is fully closed. Started after battery change. Lexus found no codes on tech stream. It can be frustrating.
Panel would move to the right when switch is activated
By Coincidence the panel would be move to the right where the first aid kit would be that’s why it wouldn’t open
I was able to get to the trunk by using the override with my key fob and was able to open and move the first aid kit, thank god I didn’t agree at the dealer for the diagnose which would be 400 to start plus the labor and all… don’t make the same mistake I did
My OP SUSPENDED nightmare is a bad package tray motor ($6800 dealer estimate). The damn thing just lifts a tiny flap and costs THAT much to replace? I’m looking for pointers from anyone that’s ever replaced one, btw, because there are several on EBay.
