moonroof going crazy

Default moonroof going crazy

ok so.about 3weeks ago whenever I held my unlock button and my windows would open an moon roof included.... whenever I would want to manually close the moon roof it started to go crazy. it would close open I'd close it again it open half way and we played that game for a while now it does it even when I open the moon roof from inside.... I did some search an I see that people have noises an all but couldn't find an answer.... please help me out

as it closes, use your finger to "help" it close (from the rear) push up. There might be a pebble or something on the track messing with the sensor. Could also be the switch going bad.

I have that problem every now and then, I just use my finger to help close it and doesnt happen any more. I also have a short in my switch that doesnt let me use it much. I'd have to play with it a bit to get it to work... Different issue, probably not relevant to the moon roof craziness.

I lubed the tracks on mine and it stopped. I don't open it very often though so I don't know if it's gonna keep working.
