^^ Yup but I am not "as excited" as I was 2 weeks ago - I am sure when I have the car here, the love will start all over again. I settled the whole steering column issue, the biggest fear/worry remains the black wheels and how much effort it will be to keep clean

Glad to hear it! I'm going to have to learn about Techstream too. Seems more involved to set up, but similar in concept to Ford's Forscan tool. I'm doing a little research now on if the Launch OBD tool has similar function. Similar to your fiasco with the steering column adjustment, one of my peeves is the seatbelt chime. I have a ~300ft driveway and when I stop to get the mail it is annoying to have to buckle up or listen to the car scream at me.
^^ Yeah, we all have our quirks that is for sure - I won't list all of mine as I risk being banned for life on this forum (lol) - There are a few things the dealer/tech can do when it comes to settings and such. Some, they might advertise but worth asking in case. Yeah, the seatbelt chime can be annoying but it is a reflex for me so that is not an irritant (for me) but I get it. The other thing I hate is the auto-start but luckily our 500 doesn't have that crap. Our little TRAX does but I am not already mentally trained to push the button to turn it off on start up.
I hope you will enjoy yours - My friend in a nearby province is getting his on the same day as mine - makes sense that twins get delivered on the same day (lol)

Just for reference, that picture I posted on the Picture Thread has two weeks of brake dust on the wheels. They look clean from a distance and even close up they don't look too bad. The matte-black finish helps with the overall look too. It'll be healthy for you leave a little dust on there and recognize perfection in imperfection .
I'll have the whole winter to shop around for the best products to use on them. At this point, I'm planning to minimize the contact on them as much as possible (I have the proper detailing garage to just use my built in PW, foam cannon and air dryer) and periodically, maybe apply some stuff like a spray sealant intended for this type of finish - I will have 4 months of snow storms to research it
If anyone here is looking for an Ultimate Edition, I had a long standing deposit at New Country Lexus in Latham NY, but ended up getting my car sooner from another dealer. As of the time of this post, I know they have an UE coming sometime in December at MSRP that is unclaimed. Ask for Cole and mention that Shawn referred you.
Also, I got a text last night from Deziree at McGrath Lexus in Chicago regarding an available UE. I don't know if that one is at MSRP or not, but worth a try anyway. These leads are from the many many calls I made over the summer and early fall.
Friend of mine who lives in the city where I am getting mine was out servicing her car at the dealer and sent me a pic and asking if I was the lucky owner (lol) - I know how DLPTony wants folding mirrors (lol) I guess it still stands safely in the showroom where it belongs until I take her home (car carrier supposed to send it Thursday)

Deal has been signed, car purchased! Once I had both my old and new 500 together, i knew I made the right choice. Now need to wait for the delivery....hope it will be soon.
I can't describe how good it looks in person vs pics. I absolutely love it!

Picking mine up tomorrow!
Very excited, but it'll still be bittersweet as I love my Launch Edition! But the changes to the UE will be welcomed! Had the opportunity to grab the last V8, had to.
^^ According to the info I got, only 4 left in Canada out of the 40 and those four have names on them.
That would not surprise me. The GM at the dealer was telling me that the UE was creating a lot of buzz in the showroom and there were a few people who had their name on a list in case I backed out.
