Default Card Key

Hi All,
I was curious if we get a Card Key with our IS500 Premiums or is this something one has to buy? I've looked all over my car and cannot find it. Thanks.

I think it is an option. Maybe it will be on your window sticker if you have it.

Seems like just the ‘22 LE version came standard with the card key. Maybe the ‘23 orange LE has it too. But Base & Premiums don’t come with it unless it was perhaps added as a port- or dealer-installed option.

Regardless can always just buy from dealer for a couple hundred dollars. Honestly I bought one but rarely use it as most will need to carry home & office keys anyway.

Thanks for the responses. No, it is not on my window sticker but wondered if we get one as I saw it in the owners manual. The mobile phone charge cables is on my window sticker but not in my car. I sent an email to my sales guy about that. If I'm paying $85 for it from the Port I want it

Yeah, I don't need it that badly if its a few hundred dollars LOL. I never carry any keys anymore. I access work with an electronic badge and my garage at home via Homelink or an app on my phone allows me to open it anywhere in the world. Even my motorcycle has keyless ignition and start, although that scares me being stuck in the middle of no where when on a long bike trip that the battery goes bad. I change that battery every year.

Is it actually the size of a credit card or thicker?

I recently quit carrying a wallet. It might be nice to not carry a car key either.

I ordered mine through the dealership. It's nice to have in my opinion. When I hit the gym, I have a phone case with a card holder on it. Comes in handy. Only issue is when I'm watching videos during cardio or something the phone is at a slight angle due to the bulkiness of the card being there. First world problems.

I've only seen it on LE's. No premiums that I know of came with them unless it was a special order thing

Same width as a credit card but length is about 1/3” shorter and it’s 3-4 credit cards thick.

Damn, my phone holds 4 credit cards so it'll be too thick to fit. I only have 1 spot left.

Anyone have a part number the the credit card key? I saw another post that had part numbers, but when I looked them up, it looked like it was for the fob, not key card
