Default Lost my car key

Hi, I lost my car key (no need to ridicule, it's already been done....) and I was just wondering if there was anything I could do, like a method to find it (a long shot, but worth asking) and how much an extra key is, although I have the spare, I'd like another spare....If you guys could help me out that'll be great, thanks in advance.

I know of no way to locate the key.
No tracking devices built in.
Sorry.
As for a replacement, they are very expensive but I am not sure how much.
Go to your saleman and beg..............He can warranty it if he wants.

It's pricey. Sewell Lexus (CL vendor/sponsor) has it online for $176. Check the CL vendor listing for a discount code to get it down a bit less...

I once lost my key also.

If you lost your primary key and not your backup key, there is a good chance the key is at home.

Depending on how you carry your key (in your pocket?) and if you ever go anywhere with your key and without your car (I never do), it makes it practically impossible for the key to be anywhere else but at home.

Because you most likely discovered your key missing while you were home, if you were not at home when your key went missing, how did you get your car home? If you are like me, when you couldn't find your primary key, you grabbed your backup key which you keep at home.

This is the reasoning I took after I was nearly about to purchase another key, so I continued to search at home longer. Took me 2 weeks to find it.

Well, don't leave us in suspense. Where was it?

Mine somehow managed to work its way out of my pocket and underneath a sofa cushion in my living room, but fortunately I was able to find it (and about $2.00 in change that I didn't know I was missing) after about 15 minutes of searching.

Holy crap. I think some kind of permanent attachment is in order... hang it from my nose ring or something.

Yes, according to the package they are "key gloves". Also gave me a couple of gold colored keychains with the Lexus logo and dealer info engraved on it.

I think everyone gets those little things. They should be in your glove box.

Apparently a pair of pants that I rarely wear, I left the keys in there and when I hung them up in the back of the closet, the remote fell out and behind some stuff. I never thought to look in that part of the closet much less in the pockets of an old pair of pants.

I got the leather thingys but I will never use them. I'll keep one. I'll send the other one to anyone who wants it and is willing to pm their mailing address to me. All I ask is that you don't already have one (this would be your first one).
