Default Key Replacement?

Hey everybody,

When I bought my car, I received 1 key fob & a credit card key, I want to see if it's possible to buy another key fob and program via Techstream?

Does anyone know if it's possible?

If you buy a new key its easy to add it with Techstream, just done it myself. From what I've read if you want to add a used key you have to erase all keys and add them all (to risky for me)

I just purchased a 2013 GS350 that came with only one key. Where can I purchase another besides at the dealer? They quoted $380 for the key not including the service of programming the key. Is there somewhere that's less?

Thanks

Open your key fob and get the number of the printed circuit board inside. Then check eBay for the matching FCC ID number AND the same PCB number. Even though keys may look alike, the PCB number has to match. Make sure it's a virgin key and it can easily be programmed with Techstream to work with your car. I just did it for my LS460 and my total cost (key, cable, software) was $120.
