The BBS wheels were part of the Appearance Package. The Smoked Enkeis were the standard on 23's and were rarer because C.R.E.A.M.
The BBS wheels were a standalone option I believe, but almost every 2023 has them just like almost every IS500 was a premium trim. I've seen a few base models without BBS wheels go to Canada, but only one or two in the US.

That is correct. Circles back to my C.R.E.A.M. statement lol
Only issue I have is I wish they'd added wireless carplay. The various dongles I've tried are pretty crappy.
My phone stays in my center console from the time I get in to the time I get out, so I got no complaints there. My phone gets a bit toasty on long drives, though.
Waiting on the announcement of the '24s before I go to the dealer (hopefully one of them down here in San Diego will be MSRP - I think Carlsbad and Escondido are, not sure about Kearny Mesa). Going with the blue/white combo unless something new is announced...like green exterior or brown interior.
If they do nothing with the 2024 IS in terms of upgrading the infotainment, my guess is this will have the dubious honor of being one of the only remaining vehicles made by any car manufacturer that still has a cd player. I transferred all my cd's to digital at least a decade ago. I know that Lexus is conservative but this is just disappointing.

My $0.02 is prepare to be disappointed. This is a car that only exists in North America and Lexus NA basically asked for forgiveness, not permission. They aren’t going to spend any money to update the car, especially for the ostensibly last model year. The LC 500 got an update because it will be around for a few more years.

Canadian IS500 only have 1 trim, it fits between the States premium trim and base trim cuz we have the ML sound system, 10" screen and premium triple beam headlights but we don't get rear sun shades, or power tilt and telescope steering wheel, and we don't have BBS option
