The Limited Edition is though still the most produced version of the car though right?.

It was never the limited edition, it was always the Launch Edition. I have no idea if the Launch Edition is the most common version, and I suppose it depends on how you look at it. I'm pretty sure there's more "regular" IS500s than LEs, but there may not be more 2022 atomic silver regular IS500s than there are 2022 LEs.

Hey thats the benefit of being an adult. We can agree to disagree. In 2023 they made the LE wheels available for everyone. In 2024 they made the LE color available for everyone. Is it safe to say that in 2025 they will make the LE interior available to everyone? After all, the LE interior was available in the 2021 JDM IS350 so the 2022 LE wasn't the first application of it. Every buyer is different of course, but unless if you got #69 or #420, I definitely would not pay extra for a car just because of the plaque.

Maybe they will, just as maybe they'll offer orange or this blue vector as optional colors moving forward. You may not care about the plaque but it seems enough people do that LEs are more valuable on the used market (currently, that may change if Lexus ****s LE owners over again).

Again, just my opinion but the value of in the Used market was higher because the car itself was higher when new and it was an exclusive color up until now. I suspect once Incognito IS500s start hitting the market we may start noticing the price of LEs getting more in line with the regular Premium IS500s. All speculation of course.

I’m aware I talk a lot of crap and give the LE a hard time. At the end of the day it’s still a fine car. 2 years later ppl are still talking about it - maybe Lexus did something right after all lol.

Nah……

The price difference will probably come down, but I think LEs will continue to demand a premium over regular IS500s.

Thats possible as well. But if MY24 is the last model year with a V8 as speculated, it (Blue Vector with a V6) wouldnt really matter as engine is the USP for IS500.

I didn't want the color in the LE but more than that I did not want all the fuzzy interior bits. I guess if you want a number plate and fuzzy bits, the LE has no appeal over a new '24 Incognito IS 500.

Can't say I've ever heard microseude described as "fuzzy bits".

"LE wheels" were the BBSes and were already available to IS 350 models, so they were never exclusive anyway.

<looks at the car in my garage wearing the BBSes>

But, but, they're forged and pretty cool looking, so they're still the best wheels!

Also, I am 100% with you - well, maybe 99% with you. I don't necessarily want to have an LE because I would feel bad if I ever messed it up. I'd rather just get a "normal" IS 500 like the one I have - besides, red is more fun than gray. 😈

God I can’t stand Kirk lol. He speculates so much that on the few occasions like this one where he reads factual information, I can even force myself to watch him.
