Well, it would make sense there. I'm pretty sure they sell about 20k units a year. The IS 5 probably won't reach 7k for it's total run.

A shame they won't at least add the 10 speed gearbox for on the LC. Probably takes no effort for them....but no, we get fancy colors.

The 2023 IS500 has a touch screen and CarPlay already, and it still has the dumb joy stick. A HUD would be a perfect addition.

Real men don't need a HUD.

It doesn't have the joy stick anymore - that was removed for the 2021 model year.

They need a wireless CarPlay instead. 😆

Wireless CP and AA are a sin. Every car I've owned with it has had a charger that cooks my phone.

I think this would be a game changer if you are talking about performance upgrades. The extremely overweight LC500 clocks in a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds. Just imagine what an IS500 that sheds 500 lbs would do.

So while the US manuals aren't up and the US site doesn't show a change in production, Lexus Japan has been updated to reflect that 2024MY started in October of this year. According to them, 2023MY ended in September.
These are the Japanese Owners Manuals so you may struggle to read them. I have yet to go through them so please point out anything you might see. Please bear in mind that some of what you see may not come to the USDM vehicles, such as the pop up hood in the event of an accident.

Edit: The JDM IS kept the old infotainment so I'd say its 100% confirmed that the USDM will as well.

Interesting, on the last part, this means no wireless CarPlay for the '24 IS models? Since the infotainment hasn't changed. My lease is up and I really wanted an upgraded version of the IS.

I know this will scrunch a bunch of your panties, but the IS500 is a man's car and men don't need giant touchscreens and updated infotainment. The RC F is the same. Notice which Lexus cars have gotten the updated software: every Lexus SUV (for women), the LC500 (aka "the ultimate secretary's car"), the electric RZ (for women).

There was realistically no shot of anything being changed for the infotainment on this car, or really anything outside a new color and some minor aesthetic changes

If there's a deal for a 23' IS500, is it worth just going for that at this point since nothing new for the 24' model?

If it's a color combination you like and aren't interested in the new Blue, then yes.
