tl;dr there is a new blue supposedly called Blue Vector, and Incognito is now broadly available instead of only on the special appearance package IS 350.

None of this has been confirmed officially.

 

Owner's manuals don't show this. We have to wait for a press release. But it has already been confirmed by people with access to allocations that Incognito and a new shade of blue are new and in production.

 

Do we know that 2024 is the last year for the IS 500?

Nobody here knows that. What we know is that 2024 is the last year for the RCF Track Edition. No comment was made for the regular RC F. Could this mean that it's the last year for the 2UR and the 2025 RCF will switch to something like a twin turbo 6? Yes its possible but it's all speculation, and unless someone works directly at corporate, anything you read online is just that, speculation.

 

Another thing I have spotted, the black stainless steel window trim no longer says "IS500" it says "If Equipped". This confirms it is making its way down to lower trim models. They have also once again added the reference to ultrasuede areas with a comment next to it that says "IS500" so the IS500 will be getting suede like the launch edition. My speculation is that only the special appearance package will gain this. Everything else appears to be unchanged.

 

I hope the Enkei's from the 22 MY are more available. It felt like 99% of 23's had the BBS wheels.

 

Important to note, that in addition to Incognito and Blue Vector being added, (Blue Vector - special appearance package) it appears Grecian Water and Atomic Silver are being cut from the options.

What is cool from the pics, it looks like the bottom half of the mirrors, is now color coridinated.

 

Pretty cool that Lexus has managed to keep basically the same interior for 10 years. Is that an all-time record?
