Lexus will have to do something special to that blue to separate it from the Toyotas, be it an extra layer or pearlescence. Lexus paint, while has gotten worse over the years, always has an x factor that makes it look nicer than Toyota's. I wouldn't want the exact same paint. I could be wrong about the grays, silvers, champagnes, blacks, and whites, but I dont think the iconic Lexus colors have ever been shared with Toyota.

 

Spot on man! Thanks for posting this info. Sadly if history is to tell us anything, once they announce it officially, we won’t see actual pictures of the car for about 2 months. The first pictures of molten pearl didn’t come out until late November/early December if I’m not mistaken.

 

In my opinion, the more blue the better! 🤷🏽‍♂️ I might have to change the #BlueCrew to #BenettonBlue though. 😂

 

Please...no more blue, there are already 2 blues available. Go something different in color.

I think Flare Yellow would highlight the lines really well.

 

I love blue, the more the merrier. But a green Special Appearance would be both unique and fashion-forward.

 

Anything that isn't white/grey/black is welcome. We need more color in the car world.

Very odd to go with a color that is so similar to Grecian Water which everybody seems to already not like on this car (according to production numbers) (I love Grecian personally).

 

I like my grecian water 500, but if they had army green from the tacoma that would be cool, or the brown color from the new GX or LFA nur package color

 

Wouldn’t mind seeing some satin or matte finishes from the factory. BMW does a good job with their “frozen” colors.

 

I agree. I was already thinking about getting matte PPF on a future Caviar IS500. Was also thinking about Iridium...

 

Would def look good. Lexus has done it some too, RCF Track Edition was in Nebula I think?

 

The GS F Anniversary Edition also had it. I saw one of those in person at my dealership back when it was new, and it was cool.




Side note, the blue interior was also choice.

 

Oh yeah, I like that. I may have to do my atomic silver in matte. I can see by the wheels above and the carbon fiber spoiler how great it would look with atomic, BBS wheels, and cf spoiler. Just might have to do that. Giddy up! Thank you for posting Arentz!
