Default 2016 IS300 AWD - Remote start

Hi Lexus fans!

I can't seem to find the way to remote start my 2016 IS300. Tried pressing lock button 3 times and no results. Also, went with my vin number into Enform app to subscribe to remote start option after I did some research and it gives me an error.

Please help! 🙏

You press the lock button 3 times and then HOLD the button in on the 3rd press.

Hi! Thank you for the info. I have tried holding the lock button on 3rd press and unfortunately it is not working for me in my 2016 model.

Does it work for you?

I would even say to try mashing the button 4+ times and holding. It seems to work as long as it is AT LEAST 3. But the remote service has been discontinued as far as I know due to the 3G network shutdown (excluding 2017+ models).

You have to make sure your car has it to being with. Mine didn't from factory so I opt install one myself.

OP is in Canada, before 2021, Enform wasn't available on the IS so factory remote starting wasn't either.

You'll need to get an aftermarket remote starter if you want to be able to remote start it.

I installed an aftermarket remote start a few years ago. Works the same way - 3 clicks of the lock button and it fires up after flashing the park lights 5 times.
