Default Installed battery backwards now car wont start

Hello, all new to the forums for Lexus. I was installing a battery on my 2014 IS250 F sport and installed it backward (negative to positive). The terminal sparked and started honking for 5 seconds or so and that's when I took it off realizing I installed the battery wrong. I put it back together correctly went to go start the car and it wouldn't detect my key so I held it to the start/stop button and started the car it turned on but I have every single light on the dash, and the car doesn't let me rev, move the steering wheel, or move the gear. It has a bunch of signs like eps, srs, abs, and brake override failure fail. Any idea what it could be? I checked the fuses they all check out to be good still haven't looked into the relays or fusible links. Any help would be appreciated!

You said you checked all the fuses... does that include the two fuse panels in the engine bay and the one under the dash in the driver footwell? If all those fuses check out then it's probably going to be hard to track down. The next step might be looking at the ECUs and other control modules. Those are the steps I would take personally but if you haven't yet, check if others have done the same thing and see what you can find.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but my son did this on his Chevy Silverado 1500 and we had to replace a couple of computer modules. We went to the dealer and let them do the work and I want to say paid about $1500. But the truck still had weird quirks afterwards, so he immediately traded it in.

@Pittsy Is correct you toasted the Main Bus Fuse, I happen to me on my GS350, also its a pain in the *** to replace but doable as there are 3 10mm bolts holding main lines from fuse and they are at the bottom and not easily accessible as the fuse is also in a holder. On the GS350 is located in the fuse box just in front of the battery

Todays cars have so many electronics, It doesn’t take much to fry something. Hopefully he noticed the mistake quickly and removed the terminals. My so managed to screw the damn thing all the way in before noticing.
